Patrick Collins

Pat has worked for the CST family since 2012 and has been part of the development of Forest Gate Community School into one of the highest performing schools in the country. He has worked with the English department on its journey to becoming the TES ‘Best English department in England’ in 2020. He is a teacher of English language and literature as well as a qualified SENDCo and has worked within the CST as a Regional Director for Vulnerable Students. In that capacity he worked to improve the outcomes for young people in various settings across our trust before taking up his position as Deputy Headteacher for Teaching and Learning at Forest Gate in 2022. 

Pat is passionate about improving both the life chances of students in the school as well as ensuring the highest quality of teaching and learning for staff in the school. He has responsibility for the whole school CPD programme within FGCS and ensures that we employ high-impact, research driven and developmental training to all teaching staff.
